Hotel Overview

Sense of place

The Rosewood Phnom Penh occupies the top 14 floors of the soaring Vattanac Capital Tower, an iconic modern building in the capital, guaranteeing panoramic city and river views. The tower is the city’s tallest building and its first skyscraper, epitomising the development of modern-day Phnom Penh.

Rooms at Rosewood Phnom Penh

The elegant rooms and suites all have beautiful views, with custom-made artworks and locally-inspired fabrics and colours, luxury mini-bars, state-of-the-art technology and marble bathrooms. The suites offer plenty of space and premium views, including signature suites which are lavishly furnished with a large bedroom and dressing chamber, a living room and a spacious dining area.

Food & drink

Brasserie Louis offers delicious French and Cambodian cuisine, so you can feast on oysters, escargots and confit du canard, or try kuy teav (pork and noodle soup) and char lok lak (beef with a lime-pepper dip), local Cambodian favourites which are made with fresh seasonal produce. The Cuts restaurant specialises in steak and seafood, and your meal will be accompanied by stunning views from the 38th floor. Enjoy tastings in the Wine Vault, which has an impressive selection of wines.

There’s also a Japanese restaurant, Iza, where you can watch your chef skilfully prepare your food from a delicious menu including ramen, sushi, and other Izakaya-style dishes, served with sake.

Enjoy cakes and champagne in the Living Room, and in the evening, head to the terrace of the Sora sky bar to treat yourself to tapas and exotic cocktails, accompanied by spectacular views of Phnom Penh and the sounds of smooth jazz.

There is a pool and a 24-hour fitness centre, as well as the Sense spa, which is the perfect place to retreat to after a day of sightseeing in the bustling capital. The spa’s range of treatments is inspired by traditional Khmer healing practices and feature products such as Cambodian salt and turmeric.

If you have children in tow, the Rose Buds programme includes tailor-made menus and all sorts of activities.

Activities at Rosewood Phnom Penh

As well as the hotel’s own art gallery, there are many ways to experience Cambodia’s colourful culture first-hand. Visit local sights such as the National Museum, the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda and Wat Phnom, enjoy an excursion to Oudong to witness a ceremonial blessing at Cambodia’s largest Buddhist centre, and see cultural treasures in a private monk’s residence. Watch a performance of traditional Apsara dancing and meet with the dancers afterwards, or enjoy a private dance lesson to learn the steps for yourself.

Keen shoppers will love the Vattanac Capital Mall, which adjoins the hotel, offering luxury brands right on the doorstep.
