Cambodia is warm all year round, with the peak time for travel being between November and February due to slightly cooler temperatures and lower humidity. Very little rain falls from November to May and the hottest weather comes from March to May, when temperatures can easily reach 35°C during the day.
The months between June and October, however, bring their own charms. Fewer tourists come at this time of the year, meaning you’ll have even the likes of like Angkor Wat pretty much to yourself. The vegetation undergoes a fascinating metamorphosis and the city of Siem Reap turns from a dusty savannah into something closer to a jungle, meaning you’ll see a very different Cambodia to most visitors.
