Bagan Lodge

On the edge of Bagan’s archaeological zone, within easy access of many of its temples.

The villa rooms and suites are bedecked in handcrafted furnishings, teak floors and earthy tones, exuding a classic yet distinctively oriental style, alongside bathrooms with deep soaking tubs and stone-tiled rainshowers. Admire the views from your private balcony, looking out over the immaculate gardens below. The three spacious suites are named after Queen Victoria, Rudyard Kipling and W. Somerset Maugham, and some have private gardens.

Enjoy a delicious international buffet breakfast, and for dinner, the open-air restaurant, Tiffin Box, offers authentic Myanmar cuisine as well as Western favourites. There’s also a lobby lounge for light snacks and drinks.

Bagan Lodge has an inviting outdoor pool lined with sun loungers and parasols, and there’s even a poolside bar so you don’t need to lift a finger – just order a refreshing cocktail after your swim.

After a day’s sightseeing, indulge in a massage or a beauty treatment in the spa. For something more active, enjoy a scenic cycle ride or take in a round of golf on the golf course nearby.
