Upstairs houses a large master bedroom with terrace and sitting area, generous bathroom with twin sinks, shower room and bathtub. There is a second bedroom ideal for children with twin beds and a separate bathroom. Adjacent to the main cottage are four additional garden rooms lending this villa added flexibility to house from two to 12 people.
Apart from the miles of white sand beaches, activities include horse riding, fishing, sailing, snorkeling, wind surfing and scuba diving. There are nearby Mayan temples to be explored, golf courses and jungle excursions. Esencia also has an excellent spa and superb restaurant, Sal y Fuego.
