La Pinta | Galapagos | Ecuador

Come face to face with the world’s most weird and wonderful wildlife in the Galapagos aboard La Pinta, the latest arrival in Galapagos. Carrying a maximum of 32 passengers, she is small enough to feel intimate but large enough to offer plenty of facilities from a gym and Jacuzzi to a library and two bars.

Where… cruising around the Galapagos Islands, 604 miles off the west coast of Ecuador, South America.

And the rooms… the 63-meter (207-foot) yacht accommodates 32 guests. Cabins are spacious and light and bathrooms are well equipped. Six cabins are inter-connected for the convenience of families and there also are four large triple cabins, as well as single cabins. All rooms have picture windows, I-pod docking stations and individual controls in each cabin for air conditioning.

Food & facilities… La Pinta offers the perfect mix of adventure and discovery with rest and relaxation. The boat deck has a lounge, two bars, gym and Jacuzzi, a library with access to Internet and a sundeck. There’s also is a WiFi connection. Breakfast and lunch are buffet style, but dinner in the evenings is à la carte – weather permitting, some meals can be taken al fresco on the yacht’s sundeck.

Activities… experience the islands’ unique flora and fauna with expert naturalist guides, who help you learn about the Galapagos on daily excursions ranging from lava treks and bird watching to snorkelling with sea lions.

In the know… there is a 'young pirates' programme for children, teaching them about the fascinating nature and wildlife on the island. The fun and educational activities available entertain the children, whilst freeing adults to explore the islands themselves.
