Go wild Kenya and the Seychelles | 14 nights
Get back to nature on this dream of a trip across African plains to wild, deserted Seychelles beaches. A holiday of superlative experiences seen from small, select lodges and hotels.
Perfect for… honeymooners, couples, explorers looking for a balance of adventure and relaxation.
When to go… Kenya is great between July and October (time your trip with migration if you can), while the Seychelles is at its driest at this time – although beware of rougher seas.
Consider… staying on Mahe, the largest island in the Seychelles, for a taste of creole culture. Check out the Banyan Tree Seychelles.
• Start your trip with a direct flight to Nairobi, where we’ll pick you up and whisk you to the oh-so-relaxing Loldia House, for low key wildlife viewing on the lake and wonderful homemade cake.
• After two nights at Loldia, a light aircraft transfer takes you to the Masai Mara for three nights of adrenalin-fuelled wildlife watching and the chance to take a hot air balloon over the plains. We just love Il Moran.
• After the Mara, a light aircraft takes you back to Nairobi for a night at the classic Norfolk hotel.
• The next day, we’ll transfer you to the international airport in time for your flight over to the Seychelles, where you’ll join a light aircraft flight over to Desroches Island.
• Spend the next week unwinding under shady coconut palms, wriggling your toes in the talcum powder sand and playing Robinson Crusoe in the Indian Ocean sunshine.
• At the end of your trip, you’ll be flown back to Mahe in time to connect with your return flight home.
