When to go… Costa Rica is covered in rainforest so you can expect tropical showers. June to November are the wettest months but sunshine and warm temperatures are year-round.

• We fly you to Costa Rica’s capital, San Jose, for a night on a coffee plantation just outside the city, where you can rest and get ready for tomorrow’s adventure.
• A light aircraft flies you south to the pristine Osa Peninsula and one of our favourite places in Costa Rica, Lapa Rios. This remote area teems with every kind of wildlife from monkeys to reptiles. Hike, horse ride on the beach or take a night wildlife tour during your three-night stay.
• Back on the propeller ‘plane for flights north and three nights in the Monteverde Cloud Forest. This is the premier place for zip lining and sky walks through the canopy to experience the forest as the monkeys do. 
• From Monteverde, we transfer you by boat and car for two nights at lava-spitting Arenal Volcano. Stay at a lodge with views to the volcano and cross your fingers for clear night skies to see spectacular lava flows.
• After all that excitement, you’ll need some time to unwind. We fly you north again to Liberia for a five-night stay at the Four Seasons Costa Rica for some well-deserved beach time. Not had enough adventure? There are plenty of activities on offer here from horse riding to surfing and scuba diving.
• Relaxed, refreshed and energised, we’ll fly you back to San Jose for your flights home or onwards to your next destination.
