Dunes Lodge is a beautiful and unusual lodge perched on a raised plateau in the reserve with fabulous 360° views. There are just nine spacious chalets built on stilts each with an en suite bathroom and private terrace. The main lodge, which is surrounded by airy verandas, houses a wine cellar, library and two elegant dining rooms. There is also a swimming pool.
Activities include safari ballooning, wildlife game drives and picnics in the wild. Game species in the reserve include gemsbok, zebra and leopard. There is also a rich and diverse micro–fauna.
