 | Situated 23km north of Hluhluwe in northern Zululand, Thanda Private Game Reserve is a celebration of the Zulu people and their rich culture. Thanda was voted Africa's leading luxury lodge at the 2007 World Travel Awards. The land has been rehabilitated and the animals that once roamed freely have been reintroduced. Here you can see the 'big five' plus cheetah, wild dogs and giraffe.
The main lodge is made up of nine luxury bush villas. Each one has a private splash pool and viewing deck, sala, lounge, fireplace and a full bathroom with an inside as well as an outside shower.
