|  | | | Raffles Resort, Canouan | | The little crescent-shaped island of Canouan was completely undeveloped until relatively recently, but now boasts one of the most lavish resorts in the Caribbean. Raffles is a five star golf resort with two beaches, four restaurants, a PADI diving centre, tennis courts, an Amrita spa, an elegant hilltop casino, the largest pool in the Caribbean and even an old English church, set in acres of landscaped gardens.
Guests arrive at the resort by luxury catamaran.
