|  | | | Offbeat Meru Camp | | This small camp is located on the pretty Bisanandi River just outside Meru National Park. The park has a huge variety of landscapes from open savannah plains to riverine forest and swamps, and is home to all the big five as well as extraordinarily varied birdlife.
The camp has six large tents all with ensuite bathrooms with bucket showers, wash basins and flush toilets. All are tastefully furnished with huge beds, solar lighting and the finest linen. There is a relaxed atmosphere with a cosy lounge and bar as well as an adjacent dining tent, where delicious home cooked meals are served in an informal setting.
Activities include day and night game drives, bush walks, fly fishing and cultural visits. The camp’s pretty infinity edge pool is the perfect spot to cool off and spot animals drinking at the river below.
