|  | | | Mvuu Lodge | | Mvuu Wilderness Lodge is an elegant tented lodge built along the banks of the Shire River in Liwonde National Park. The park is home to a wide variety of bird and animal life including large numbers of elephant, hippo, impala and the African Fish Eagle. Huge crocodiles are also fairly common. The lodge consists of just five spacious tents, each with an en suite bathroom and a private veranda looking out over the river, and there is a central dining area and pool. The lodge organises excellent, game drives, nature walks, bird watching excursions and boat trips.
