The food and service is excellent, with meals often served on the lawns on which hippos graze at night.
Activities include nature walks, horseriding, game drives and boat cruises on Lake Naivasha for fishing and birdwatching, as well as excursions to Lake Nakuru National Park famous for its flamingos.
