| | | | Lemuria Resort | | Set in more than 200 acres of palm groves on the north west coast of the island of Praslin, Lemuria Resort was the first five star resort in the Seychelles. The 88 suites (80 junior and eight senior) and eight luxury villas (each with its own butler) were built in total harmony with the environment, using pink granite, wood, stone and thatch.
A natural stream flows through the lobby, down the main stairs and out to an emerald lagoon, and even the lighting was designed so as not to disturb the turtles laying eggs on the beautiful white beaches. Food is a delicious French/Seychelles fusion.
There is a Guerlain spa, one of the world's most scenic golf courses, tennis, scuba and a kids' club for four to 12 year olds. Lemuria is a Relais & Chateaux hotel.
