 | Hacienda Uayamon is built on the site of a ruined Mayan pyramid in Campeche, west of Merida, with 12 private casitas scattered around the extensive gardens. There is a large pool and horse riding and cycling available in the grounds, and the big attraction further afield is the ruins of Edzna, the ancient Mayan city noted for its underground water storage system.
