The island is home to a husband and wife team of ecologists who monitor and protect the endemic wildlife. You can help track turtles, take a nature walk up into the forest to bird breeding projects and enjoy the giant tortoises that wander freely around the resort. Far from being intrusive to the wildlife, guests are key to providing the funding to allow the conservation work to continue.
The air-conditioned villas are bright and airy and extremely private. The island works on an all-inclusive basis plus there's great scuba diving off the white sand beach. There is a large pool, a small rustic spa and the chef prepares a mainly seafood menu.
