|  |  | | Chelinda |  | In Nyika National Park in north Malawi, you find the wildlife of Africa and the colours and flowers of Europe. Chelinda Lodge, the only lodge in the park, is set on a grassy plateau in the centre of the park at an altitude of 2100m. It is surrounded by rolling montane grasslands, evergreen forest and beautiful flowers, including millions of wild orchids.
There are only eight two-storey luxurious log cabins, which offer some of the most stunning views in Africa. The en suite cabins, each with private verandas, are connected to each other by raised wooden walkways, while the main building houses the fantastic restaurant and lounge.
A professional guide leads all safari activities during which you can follow elephant trails through secluded valleys by vehicle, horseback, foot or mountain bike, and trot alongside eland, roan antelope and zebra.
