Escaping in total luxury. Bliss.
Located in dramatic Ninh Van Bay near Nha Trang, overlooking the South China Sea.
Simply sublime. Gleaming teak, luxurious white fabrics, in-villa mini wine cellars, iPods on request, just some of the many luxuries you’ll find in the expansive rooms and suites. And there are several types to choose from: split-level water villas accessible only by boat, rock villas where private swimming pools have been crafted out of the magnificent rock formations, and spa villas with their own private spa facilities. Decisions, decisions.
‘East meets West’ specialities, international and local favourites are all on offer in the restaurants – and there’s plenty of space for lounging on daybeds with drinks from the wine cave or healthy fresh juices from the bar. The best local seafood including lobsters and king prawns are caught fresh each day. The hotel can also organise private dinners in a private cove or on a deserted beach nearby.
A swimming pool, tennis courts and fitness centre have recently been joined by brand new Le Spa du Metropole, where Eastern holistic rituals blend with Western contemporary methods. Lavish interiors and themed treatment rooms are fabulous and inviting. There’s also a scuba diving school with the latest dive equipment, sailing, fishing trips and boat charters.
Six Senses is an excellent place to learn to dive, particularly between March and October when the Nha Trang Bay area is calm with great visibility. Beyond the bay, you can take a personalised dive tour to the nearby islands of Hon Vung and Hon Cau, Hon Kho, Hon Cha La and Whale Island. Well worth doing if you have the time.
