Itinerary Details

1. 

   COSTA RICA'S CENTRAL VALLEY - 1 night
   Fly to Costa Rica’s capital, San Jose, before making the 15 minute transfer to Xandari Plantation. An architectural gem high on the hillside, you’ll spend a relaxing night here with stunning views of the central valley. During the day you can go white water rafting, or visit the nearby Braulio Carillo National Park.

2. 

   COSTA RICAN RAINFOREST - 2 nights
   The next day it’s a two hour transfer to one of our much loved Costa Rican rainforest hideaways, Pacuare Lodge. Choose to arrive by raft and lose yourself in this luxury eco-retreat surrounded by wildlife and the calls of exotic birds. We recommend the totally unique Canopy Honeymoon Suite, a tree house accessed by its own suspension bridge.

3. 

   TORTUGUERO - 2 nights
   After an early morning pick-up, you’ll be driven through rainforest to the Atlantic Coast canals. From here, you’ll have a three hour boat trip, encountering sloths, monkeys, and brilliantly coloured flowers along the way, before arriving at Tortuguero. Staying two nights on the banks of the canals at Manatus Lodge, you’ll have the wildlife-throbbing rainforest on your doorstep, and a prime nesting site for the green sea turtle nearby.

4. 

   CENTRAL VALLEY - 1 night
   Back to the Central Valley for an overnight stay at the Xandari Plantation. Get a good night sleep, before an early morning transfer to the airport.

5. 

   OSA PENINSULA - 3 nights
   Having flown to Palmar Sur, you’ll take a short car journey to Sierpe before boarding a boat through the mangroves towards the Osa Peninsula. Idyllic Casa Corcovado will be your base for the next three nights (built by an American naturalist, and described as “the most biologically intense place on earth” you get an idea of the kind of wildlife here!) Have a swim, snorkel amongst the teeming coral reefs, and if you’re there from December to early February, you may be lucky enough to spot humpback whales.
   
   

6. 

   MANUEL ANTONIO NATIONAL PARK - 4 nights
   From the Osa Peninsula, we transfer you for five nights of R&R at Arenas del Mar, a foliage-entwined beach hotel in the spectacular Manuel Antonio National Park. Enjoy vivid sunsets from your ocean view suite, swim in the clear blue waters, savour delicious fresh seafood and join guided hikes to see sloths, birds and monkeys. Kayaking, riding and white water rafting are also available if one/or both of you crave yet more activity.
   
   
   

7. 

   SAN JOSE - return flight
   Finally, after a 14 night honeymoon packed full of adventure, relaxation and Costa Rican memories, we transfer you back to San Jose for your flights home.
