Arenal Volcano

See lava flows at night spilling from Arenal Volcano, the perfect backdrop to Lake Arenal and you’ll be glad you made the journey. This picturesque area is also great for horse riding, hiking or taking a dip in the toasty hot springs and there is world class windsurfing and kitesurfing on the lake. Stay at Arenal Kioro hotel for the best view.

Monteverde Cloud Forest

The Monteverde Cloud Forest is home to more than 400 bird species and over 100 species of mammal roam its lush, green paths shrouded in cloud. This is also one of the best places to zip line - the thrill of speeding over the forest canopy far down below is immense. If you prefer to inspect your nature at a more leisurely pace, choose one of the canopy walkways.
