Everyone! With three hotels to chose from there is something for everyone; Al Husn for an exclusive six-star indulgence, Al Waha for families or Al Bandar for those looking for something in-between.
45 minutes by car from Oman's international airport and just 25 minutes from the capital Muscat.
Opulent and luxurious furnishings through out all three properties. Al Waha has 262 rooms including family rooms, great for those with children - you'll even get a play station for the kids (not meant for the adults though!). Al Bandar has 198 rooms and suites and is quieter than Al Waha whilst Al Husn has 180 rooms and suites with extras such as a complimentary mini bar; a cooler with drinks served to you by the pool and at Al Husn's private beach, a dedicated host is available for the rooms and butlers for the suites. Last but not least, guests receive an ipod on arrival with requested downloads.
An abundance of choices await. At Al Waha and Al Bandar there is a choice of 15 restaurants and bars and for those staying at Al Husn the choice increases to 21 dining venues. There are three main pools (one at each hotel), a children's pool which is located beside the Circles Pool at Al Bandar, a fully equipped fitness centre and an Omani Heritage Village, a unique cultural centre where children can enjoy the chance to get close to authentic Arabian horses and camels. Complimentary broadband is available throughout the resort.
Al Waha offers a lazy river, kids club as well as kid and toddler pool, there's a teens club at Al Bandar, but the most popular activities are the daily dolphin excursions, snorkelling trips and sunset cruises. Off site day tours, Dow cruises and visits to the Grand Mosque and the souks of Muscat are a must for any visitor to Oman. And if all the activity and the sunshine just gets too much, then at least one spa treatment per day is totally acceptable.
Be sure to dine at Bait al Bahr. The fresh seafood is divine!
