Rooms Wolwedans Dunes Lodge

The phrase “room with a view” could have been coined here. On rolling up the canvas walls of the nine spacious chalets, the panoramic desert vistas that greet you are truly phenomenal.  Stargaze from your vast bed at night and wake up to the spectacular vista as dawn breaks across the desert and mountains.  Perched on stilts, each chalet contains an ensuite bathroom and private terrace.  The mountain suite is located a short walk from the main lodge, complete with large sitting room, dining area and a patio for complete privacy.

Food & facilities

The food at Wolwedans Dune Lodge is impressive given its remote location, with meals taken together around a large table.  A chilled wine cellar houses a selection of excellent wines to accompany. Airy verandahs, a selection of ‘sundowner’ decks, two lounges and a library provide ample space for relaxing and admiring the views.

Activities at Wolwedans Dunes Lodge

Guided walks, game drives and picnic lunches in the wild are just a few ways to explore the NamibRand Nature Reserve desert.  For something even more special, safari ballooning and scenic flights are a real highlight.  After a day’s activities, simply laze around the fabulous pool, suspended above the sand, admiring the spectacular scenery that changes colour by the hour.
