Huntingdon House

Thyolo | Malawi

Away from the turquoise waters of the lake, Malawi is a highland country, where misty dawns rise over the tea plantations and chickens scratch in the red earth. The Satemwa Tea Estate has been home to the Cathcart Kay family since the 1920’s. Huntingdon House, the original family home has been converted into a delightful colonial style lodge that provides a perfect introduction to rural Malawi.
